We are a small batch nano brewery dedicated to producing excellent beers of all styles in the heart of the handsome coastal town of Whitstable, Kent. We have set up shop in a victorian brick stables that is truly throwing distance from the sea. Our brewery building was originally used to house the workhorses used in the surrounding boatyards and for moving cargo from the boats onto land via the Horsebridge. Where the horses once slept, now lives our bespoke 500L brew kit, half a dozen fermentation vessels and micro canning line.

Our home town of Whitstable is famously picturesque, characterful and steeped in rich and fascinating history. It is best known for it’s famous oyster industry, dating back several centuries and still thriving today and of course, from where we take our name. The town also provides us with a great deal of inspiration for our beers with most of them being named and influenced by the history and wildlife found in and around Whitstable.

Not only does our location in Whitstable inspire our beers but it also puts us in close proximity to an abundance of excellent ingredient producers. Within a short distance from our brewery we have access to some of the best hop growers and fruit farms the country has to offer. Using local ingredients is extremely important to us and we always choose the local option when available. Most notably Whitstable Oysters in our stouts, Kentish grown hops in many of our ales and lager beers and Kentish grown fruits in the majority of our sour and fruited ales.
